National Geographic Calendar

THE CALENDARoscope
Every element has a story to tell.

Every pebble, every gem, every seashell in the region has a story to tell that’s as unique as the region itself.
Being the region’s number 1 storyteller of factual stories, we want to tell people fascinating stories hidden in these unassuming elements.

This is the theme behind our 2016 calendar:
a kaleidoscope created with elements that are unique to this region.

IDEA
The idea is to give the user a visual moment that is so unique to behold; because with over 570 billion combinations
in the CalenderScope, it would take a person over 18,000 years to see every one of them.
Indeed, like the elements and the stories they tell, every day is a unique moment in time.

WEBCAM
A webcam is gonna capture this unique moment and send it to your phone with
a time stamp and a daily fact.

SHEDDING LIGHT
IDEA

The story depicted on each page will appear and glow in the dark when a few drops of bioluminescent ink
is poured on the paper, turning it into a source of light.

By day, these stories can be read, and by night, they simply come alive
